Moses, Aaron, and the Jewish People Worship the Trinity

Church of St. Peter, Munich, Germany

In the foreground Aaron performs a sacrifice on the left and Moses holds up the tablets of the Law on the right. Both look up toward the Trinity, as do the other Jews in the foreground, including David on the left with his harp, and flanking the smoke in the center a king and a hooded man (perhaps a prophet?). In the middle register angels join in the adoration. At the summit the Trinity is represented in the iconographic type in which the Son sits at the Father's right hand and the Spirit hovers above and between them. This type is not earlier than the 16th century, and I would judge the style to be no later than 18th century.
